Cybersecurity Standardisation Conference on ‘European Standardisation in support of the EU cybersecurity legislation’.

Cybersecurity is a top priority for businesses and governments. The increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks involving malware, phishing, machine learning, artificial intelligence and more are placing corporations’, governments’ and individuals’ data and assets at risk. Taking measures to enhance resilience against cyberthreats is crucial - for business continuity, security of data and assets, as well as the reputation of both businesses. Not surprisingly, much is happening in the area of cyber security standardisation.

For the 6th time, the European Standards Organisations CEN, CENELEC and ETSI, join forces with ENISA, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity, to bring the annual conference on Cybersecurity Standardisation ‘European Standardisation in support of the EU cybersecurity legislation’. This year the conference will be held on March 15th, 2022.

Standardisation works supporting various cybersecurity-related EU legislations will be discussed:
- NIS2 on security of infrastructures and supply chain
- eIDAS and the digital identity wallet
- Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity
- GDPR and the future of data protection.

This conference will provide information on topics handled in Euralarm HC Committee and TG Cybersecurity supporting all 4 sections. These standardisation activities are also called for by the European Commission to support the digital and green transition, as reminded very recently in the released Standardisation Strategy.

Interested? Participation is open to all and free of charge upon prior registration, which is now open at the event’s website.
