An updated version of the FAQs on Environmental Product Declarations EPDs is now available for download.

Euralarm has published an updated version of its FAQ on Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), reflecting the latest developments in standards, legislation and industry practice.

The revised FAQ provides members with practical guidance on what EPDs are, how they are developed, the information they contain and the growing role they play in the construction and fire safety sectors. The update also includes the latest clarification following the publication of ISO 14025:2026, explains the implications of the revised Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), and highlights what manufacturers should consider when preparing EPDs for different markets.

As sustainability requirements continue to evolve, EPDs are becoming increasingly important for demonstrating environmental performance, supporting green building schemes and preparing for future regulatory requirements. The updated FAQ helps Euralarm members better understand these developments and the steps needed to prepare for them.
