Euralarm President addresses young talents at Sicurezza 2025
As in many other markets companies in the security market are struggling to find skilled professionals. It is challenging companies in a market that also faces rapid technological changes. At Sicurezza a project was started that targets last year students to guide, inspire, and train them to become the next generation in the security business. The project builds a solid bridge between education and the working world. During the exhibition in Milan, students could explore future careers in areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, safety, and building automation, with direct access to HR managers and industry leaders.
Discussion with industry leaders
As part of the project a discussion with industry leaders was organized, bringing more than 100 students in direct contact with the industry. Euralarm President Peter Mita was one of the speakers at the event. His message: our security sector is no longer defined solely by technology, but by innovation, creativity, and forward-looking thinking. Today’s companies seek professionals who can move confidently across technology, human interaction, risk management, and communication. Technical training is essential, but so are curiosity, openness to new tools and ideas, and the ability to recognise shifts in the market before they happen. In addition, knowledge of industry regulations and the evolving landscape of integrated cybersecurity is becoming increasingly valuable.
Euralarm Young Professionals
That is why Euralarm started a few years ago its Euralarm Young Professionals initiative. This program is designed to empower young talent by providing them with opportunities to contribute to the evolution of fire safety and security in Europe while shaping the future of the sector. Through a series of structured events, and collaborative projects, the initiative connects rising talent with industry veterans, decision-makers, and regulators. By providing opportunities for young professionals to grow, Euralarm hopes to foster a dynamic ecosystem of talent that will lead the fire and security sector into the future.
