APSEI webinar on fire protection for lithium-ion batteries

On July 8, 12:00 h CET, the Portuguese Safety Association (APSEI) is organizing the APSEI technical webinar on “Fire protection for lithium-ion batteries”.

This webinar will be based on Euralarm's guidance documents on fire protection solutions for lithium-ion batteries and fire safety for electric vehicles in indoor parking garages. It will cover the basics of using lithium-ion batteries, how fires can occur and how they should be detected, controlled, suppressed and extinguished, then focus on factual information about the risk of fire in electric vehicles in covered parking lots compared to other types of vehicles, as well as exploring some of the solutions currently implemented.

The presentation will be done by Euralarm Technical Manager Carlos Perez.
