Euralarm and 20 other European associations have signed a joint letter to the European Commission on EU Taxonomy Appendix C.

Euralarm, together with 17 other organizations focussed on improving the safety of European citizens, has sent a joint letter to Mr. Frans Timmermans, vice president of the European Commission, calling for the establishment of structural coordination of all initiatives of the European Commission related to the fire safety of European buildings.

The European Parliament has plenary voted in favour of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) recently. This is a major step towards decarbonisation of the building stock. However, the new directive also creates fire safety and security challenges. Euralarm proposes a planned and holistic approach of these topics.
