Orgalim’s Autumn Economic & Statistics report

Added by: Paul van der Zanden Date added: 12 Dec 2024 Version number: 1

Please find atached the Orgalim Autumn Economics & Statistics Report, offering insights into the current economic climate and future outlook for our industries. The repeort is based on the inout from Orgalim members which represent a serious part of Europe's technolgy industry.

The findings of this Orgalim report are sobering. The year 2024 has seen Europe’s technology industries shrink by 4.8%, reflecting a challenging economic environment. This contraction is driven by several factors, including excessive regulation, soaring energy prices, and escalating labor costs.

Euralarm support Orgalim to advocate for a more supportive EU policy framework. The priorities include reducing regulatory burdens, strengthening the Single Market, eliminating trade barriers, and ensuring a competitive and secure energy supply for the future.
