Euralarm President Jon Könz presents Remote Services Standard during APSEI conference Proteger

Euralarm President Jon Könz presented the Remote Services Standard during the Conference Proteger that was organised by Euralarm member APSEI.

The Covid pandemic  that has gripped the world in recent years has proven the need to ensure secure remote services.

With that in mind, Euralarm President Jon Könz presented the work that Euralarm started years ago with the document dedicated to Remote Services. The document served as the basis for CENELEC to develop the new Remote Services Standard developed. The Remote Services Standard was developed by CEN/CLC Joint Technical Committee 4 Working Group. The document not only provides a regulatory framework for remote services in fire safety systems and electronic security systems but it also provides customers with the basis to ensure that these services are performed correctly.
