Euralarm attends the 14th CEN General Assembly

Euralarm attended the 14th General Assembly of CEN, which took place in Bled, Slovenia on June 20th and 21st and was hosted by SIST, the Slovenian Institute for Standardisation.

Euralarm was represented by the General Manager, Glen Dale at the 14th General Assembly of CEN. CEN the European Committee for Standardisation, is a public standards organisation whose mission is to foster the economy of the European Union (EU) in global trading, the welfare of European citizens and the environment by providing an efficient infrastructure to interested parties for the development, maintenance and distribution of coherent sets of standards and specifications.

Euralarm was invited to the event as it has recently signed an agreement to become a partner of CEN. Through the agreement, Euralarm provides CEN with their expertise in the fields of alarm systems (CEN Technical Committee 72), Services for fire safety and security systems (CEN-CENELEC Joint Technical Committee 4) as well as societal and citizen security (CEN Technical Committee 391).
