AGA, a Czech Member of Euralarm is sponsoring a free workshop ‘Crime prevention – Natural and technical prevention for smart and safe cities’, to be held in Prague on November 22nd, 2017.
Registration is now open for this event dedicated to the role played by crime prevention in different design phases from urban design to the technological equipment of buildings.
Real-life case-studies will be presented and participants in the workshop will discuss existing possibilities for crime prevention by design and how various stakeholders can be involved.
Another question to be examined during the event will be the promotion of crime prevention by design, and notably existing proposals for standardisation such as EN 14383.

The European Commission presented alongside its 11th Security Union Report a set of operational and practical measures to better defend EU citizens against terrorist threats and deliver a Europe that protects. The measures aim to address vulnerabilities exposed by recent attacks and will support Member States in protecting public spaces and help deprive terrorists of the means to act.
