Registrations are now open for this year’s Euralarm General Assembly and Symposium, which will both take place on May 9th, 2016 in Lisbon, Portugal. The General Assembly of all Euralarm Section members is the highest organ of Euralarm and is open to any member and any members' affiliated firms. The Euralarm Symposium is a favourite event for the electronics, fire safety and security industry in Europe.
In order to be attractive and successful European cities need to respond to stakeholders’ demands in particular in the areas of security, convenience, opportunity and prosperity. To this effect they are changing at an ever-faster pace, a development presenting both opportunities and challenges for city authorities, companies and private or public institutions, as well as for the citizens.
While the EU is at an economic and political crossroads, the European security industry has an unmatched potential to contribute to recovery and foster economic growth. In this White Paper, Euralarm sets out the policy priorities and actions that are essential for enhancing the innovative strength and global competitiveness of the security industry in Europe and, consequently, for improving the security of all Europe’s citizens.
Euralarm is proud to present its first Annual Report. The report covers the activities of Euralarm during 2013 and gives an outlook on future activities. All articles revolve around the slogan: ‘Key to a safe and secure future’.
The year 2014 has proven to be another eventful year. Euralarm consolidated her position as an industry expert to the EU Commission. Steps were taken to reinforce our influence into the standardisation process by consolidating our partnership with Orgalime, as an Associate Member, participating more actively in their standardisation work.
"From cybersecurity to standardisation, this collaboration helps us advocate the right policy framework for the future."
"We value Euralarm’s close relationship with the European Institutions and its leading role in standardisation, particulalrly in European minimum quality services and professional qualification."
"WAGNER decided to permanently engage in Euralarm’s activities with special respect to matters of fire safety, contributing to reduce trade barriers and to enhance competitiveness and harmonisation of the European market."
