Euralarm web - Innovation

The Euralarm web is under development continuously. Even the new structure of Euralarm decided at the Euralarm General Assembly 2009 in Sorrento caused many changes also of the structure of the Euralarm web. Since we have three sections and additional a central part of service providers for the Euralarm organisation called Technical Committees.

Most of the changes concern the members area of the Euralarm web to improve usability.

Whats new? Being informed

Each Euralarm organ i.e. Board, Section Committees, Technical Committees has its own documentation area, where meeting agendas, minutes and other relevant documents can be found, is maintained and updated continuously. To keep the members of the committees informed on time a mailing system is active now to inform once a week the members who have access by a list of all documents which have been added or updated. If of interest via a hyperlink the requested document can be downloaded directly.

The electronic Newsletter

Over the last years we published 3 to 4 Newsletters a year. Formatted as a PDF the Newsletter was distributed by email to all Euralarm members, organisations and individuals interested in Euralarm.

The newsletter you received today is now part of the Euralarm web. Only the first page with the content list of all articles is distributed. The headlines are linked to the articles part of the Euralarm web.

This format allows also publishing articles for Euralarm members only, as part of the password protected members area.

For people who are also interested to receive the Newsletter a subscription system can be used.

The next steps of innovation will be:

  • Newsletter Compliance
  • CFF Compliance Fact File
  • Database "Who is Who in Europe"

Details you will receive on time or via the next edition of the new Newsletter.

At the end Id like to ask you to help us to improve the Euralarm web. If you have any comment to the Euralarm web or any improvement idea we would be pleased to receive your feedback. Please use the following email address: feedback@euralarm.org.
