UNETO- New Euralarm member

Already at the last Euralarm General Assembly 2009 in Sorrento a representative of UNETO was present as a member of the VEBON delegation. After the UNETO Board decided to join Euralarm in the Services Section. The application of UNETO was accepted by the Euralarm Board at its meeting in December 2009 in Vienna.

UNETO-VNI is the Netherlands association of contracting installing companies and mechanical retailers. Uniting both electrotechnical contractors, mechanical engineering companies, sanitary installers as well as related retailers, the association is fairly unique in Europe. The member companies work in the fields of infrastructure on such subjects as design, consultancy, installation and maintenance.

UNETO-VNI represents the majority of employers, i.e. entrepreneurs and companies, in the installation branch. With over 5,300 small, large and medium-sized member-companies, together employing a staff volume of 130,000 and generating a turnover of € 10.5 billion, UNETO-VNI is one of the largest employers' organisations in the Netherlands.

As for the technical retail branch UNETO-VNI represents more than 1900 outlets for kitchen equipment, computers, televisions, hifi and telecommunication equipment, illumination and sanitary fittings and equipment, as well as repair companies. Employing a staff volume of 13.000, they generate a turnover of some € 3 billion.
