Amends 93/13/EEC (Directive on unfair terms in consumer contracts) and 1999/44/EC (Directive on certain aspects of the sale of consumer goods and associated guarantees). Repeals 85/577/EEC and 97/7/EC (Directives protecting consumers in respect of contracts negotiated away from business premises / distance contracts)
